Winter fragrances are always my favorite. My usual go-to during winter time is Spicebomb Extreme or Paco Ribanne Invictus Victory so I'll be using them as a comparison.
JPG is absolutely sensational if you look at it as a sweet & ambery fragrance. Vanilla is present, but it's not the prominent vanilla scent you'd usually associate when you think of vanilla, but more of a warm, ambery, honey-vanilla. There's very mild hints of Tabacco but you definitely can't call this a tobacco fragrance - it's more of a bottom layer.
The longevity is incredible, but not Dior Sauvage Elixir level. If DSE is a 10, think of this as a solid 8. It was on my skin for around 12 hours in a tropical climate.
Projection is also beautiful but it may not fill the room. You should have a lovely scent bubble of 1.5-2 feet for the first couple of hours of spraying.
My favorite winter is still Spicebomb Extreme. I prefer the stronger vanilla & tobacco in it. It's more safer and likeable, I'd say. And while the projection & longevity may not be as strong as JPG E, it's still almost as good. Although JPG E is more versatile in other seasons and occasions.
Final verdict - 8/10. You can't really go wrong with this. I got it at a great deal with Belvish. Plus this is easily the best looking bottle I have in my collection so far!
